As a kid, you never really understood what the big deal was about romance. I mean every book you read, and every TV show you enjoyed was about a couple of pre-teens who went on magical adventures, either metaphorically or literally. That was fun, you had decided, going on exciting adventures with people you liked. A few years later, the stories were the same with one major difference, instead of friends, it was now time for that one special person to make an appearance. The person who would be with you through thick and thin, rain and shine and you could live out the rest of your beautiful days with. At least that’s what fiction taught you. Life taught you that that’s not always a guarantee. Now, romance is everywhere and for good reason.
